These four colleges officially merged on April 8, 1998 in accordance with Decree Number 114/SK/Dikti/98 which stipulated the merger and change of colleges into faculties within Galuh University.

The Faculty of Agriculture of Galuh University is a faculty that was born from the College of Government Sciences in 1997. A year later, precisely on April 8, 1998, this college merged with several other colleges and formed Galuh University which is known today.
Currently, this faculty organizes an Agribusiness study program that has been accredited B by BAN-PT. This study program has a vision to become a superior and globally competitive faculty in the field of agriculture by 2030.
6. Faculty of Engineering
The Faculty of Engineering, Galuh University is a faculty that aims to provide quality human resources for the Faculty of Engineering according to needs, to improve the quality of management of the Faculty of Engineering.

7. Faculty of Health Sciences
The Faculty of Health Sciences of Galuh University is a faculty under the Galuh Ciamis Education Foundation and was established based on the Notarial Deed of the Galuh Ciamis Education Foundation Number 49 of 1977 in conjunction with Number 18 of 1995. This faculty received an operating permit from the Ministry of National Education through Decree Number 929/D/T/2007, concerning the operation of the Faculty of Health Sciences.
