What is a good subheading?
A subheading is a larger short title above a paragraph or a few paragraphs that indicates what the paragraphs under the subheading are about. A good subheading clearly describes what the text is about. So not a random title like ‘Nice then!’, because that is meaningless. But for example ‘Complaints with flu’ or ‘What can you do against a cold?’. These are clear subheadings that tell what information you can find under the heading.

How to Create Subheadings in WordPress?
In WordPress you can indicate subheadings how to build telemarketing data in blogs with ‘heading’ and then choose H2, H3, H4 and so on up to H6. Each number represents a format. The title of a blog or page is usually already H1. With certain shortcuts, the partially sighted or blind website visitor can quickly jump from (sub)heading to heading and thus quickly find where which information is located. By using good subheadings, the text is also more accessible. This jumping from heading to heading only works well if you have actually made the headings at the back of the website into headings, such as with H1, H2 etc. in WordPress. If you only make the text a little bigger, it does not work.
Headings are useful places for keywords
Subheadings are ideal places to include keywords and thus make your website more findable for search engines. With good subheadings you also aob directory work on your SEO and findability. Think again of the example of diseases, if you are looking for complaints or treatments for certain diseases, then you search for that in search engines. If a subheading then states ‘treatments for …(name of disease)’ or ‘complaints for …(name of disease)’, then the text is also picked up well by search engines.
