materials

What you need to bring little watercolor monsters to life:

White paper – Should be thicker. We had large but quite thin 120 g/m² paper, which soaked through over time… Not so cool…
Watercolors * – You can use simple ink, but the colors look quite watery. Next time I would probably go for acrylic paints *, they shine beautifully.
Paint brush *
container with water
straws *
newspaper for laying
Googly eyes* – You can either use self-adhesive ones or ones that you have to stick on. In this case you will also need
glue*

The newspaper is the first thing to go. You put it underneath so that cleaning up doesn’t take so long at the end.

Put the paper on, get everything ready and then you can get started.

You dab a drop of paint onto the cambodia mobile database paper and blow it in all directions with the straw. The paint moves across the paper until it dries.

You do this until you lose interest. It took a while for my then almost 2-year-old.

Everyone as they like

We took a long break in between and then sat down again after our afternoon nap. But then the oven was off and Oliver really didn’t feel like sticking eyes on anymore. That’s why our picture looks pretty unfinished now. So agb directory many eyeless monsters. But my goodness, eyes don’t really have to go on. I think it looks really cool as it is. Theoretically, you could also draw them on with pens once everything has dried.

Who knows. Maybe after a few days’ break we’ll feel like continuing again. So that the monsters can see something too.
