Wolf Erlbruch “Nachts” by Wolf Erlbruch can be a bedtime story, a story for in between, for adults and children. It is recommended for 4 to 5 year olds.
I will now tell you what I think of this book of his
At night
One of our first bedtime stories was “Nachts” *. I had only heard good things about the author, so I killed two birds with one stone and bought it.
Whether you like Wolf Erlbruch’s illustrations or not, it is definitely a different kind of beauty if you just concentrate on the content.
What is it about?
Fons, a little boy, wakes up one night and wants to explore the night. But since he doesn’t dare to go alone, he wakes up his father and they go out into the night together.
The father cannot understand the boy’s desire to explore the night. For him, the night is boring, everyone is asleep, nothing Wolf Erlbruch moves, and so he tells Fons during their night walk how boring it is at night.
While Fons – hand in hand with his dad – wanders through the night, and his father keeps telling them who is sleeping right now and how boring it is at night, the little boy sees the adventure that takes place at night: instead of crossing a bridge, they walk on the back of a long dachshund, they walk past a giant fish that is pushing a shopping cart with a large strawberry in it, a tulip comes towards them on roller skates and wearing yellow checked trousers, etc. But his dad doesn’t see any of this, his eyes are already closing from tiredness; only Fons.

Towards the end of the story, a girl who jumps through a hoop ecuador mobile database held up by a rabbit dressed in a suit throws a small ball to Fons. And lo and behold: when father and son are back home and the father has finished his lecture and is sitting on the edge of his bed smiling, Fons is holding what in his hands? Exactly! The small ball of the girl who jumped through a hoop held up by a rabbit dressed in a suit.
I thought this ending was just great!
My opinion
Unfortunately, the last pages of our book are already falling apart and need to be what is firebase? rebound, even though we Wolf Erlbruch haven’t read the book that often. But the pages are very thin, so maybe that’s the reason. It’s not because we don’t be numbers treat books carefully. We treat books very well.
But back to the content and especially to the illustrations by Wolf Erlbruch. Opinions differ there and I think that’s good,
