Baby Swimming – Day 4

Baby Swimmin Today I went baby swimming with my little one at the Unfallkrankenhaus Berlin (UKB) for the fourth time.

What can I say? It was by far the best lesson of the course.

Why? I’ll tell you…

Baby Swimming – Day 4
At first I had a small heart attack because this damned locker ate my Baby Swimmin €2 coin without giving me the key. Can you believe it? And then the little man just didn’t want to be put down, he wanted me to carry him. So I crouch down, my child in one arm, with the other arm I desperately fumble with the key, the lock, the locker, everywhere and nowhere, but my attempts remain unsuccessful.

What should I do? d quickly get someone?

After some back and forth, I put in a second €2 coin because for a brief moment I thought that I might have forgotten to put a coin in. “Could I really have been THAT crazy?” flashed through my mind, and then the coin was already put in.

As it turned out, I shouldn’t have done that again, because I still didn’t get a key. And the cupboard had already cost €4! Can’t be true!

I twitched and turned and did and did! Luckily, the brazil mobile database key didn’t break off. I kept thinking about that, so understandably I didn’t attack the cupboard like a madman.

And at some point the lock had annoyed me enough, spat out my coins (yes, both of them at once) and I could finally go to the swimming pool.

singing circle with new verse

It’s hard to believe, but even the rituals that seemed sacrosanct in every class were spiced up a bit!

The Splash Town, Splash Village and Bouncy Town, which you already know from the first lesson, were now joined by the Kicking Village. In this verse, you keep the children crouched down and let their legs kick so that they splash and what is aso and how is it done? splash! Some of them had a lot of fun! My little one, on the other hand, just looked a little confused as to what the hell I was doing with his little legs.

Today’s exercises focused on balance. And I have to say: the children all did a great job. Brilliant! I hardly ever had to hold my son either. He balanced himself in the water and never went under. Fascinating! The course leaders be numbers thought so too.

number puzzle
The longest exercise involved completing a number puzzle that Baby Swimmin had been torn apart. Of course, the children didn’t just do the puzzle, they also had to swim and keep their balance. The missing puzzle pieces were placed at the edge of the pool and the children were allowed to choose them.
